The Role
We are currently recruiting for a Pest Control Technician to support across our client’s sites. This role will include access to a company van (provided) and the Technician is required to cover the Norfolk area. Must be Level 2 Qualified in Pest Control by either the BPCA or the RSPH based on the level of experience required and the site portfolio will include a range of buildings (residential, commercial, government buildings).
You will be responsible for scheduling appointments and managing your own work schedule in alignment with client requirements and emergencies. Working hours are flexible for the start and finish based on travel times but the main times colleagues are expected to work are 08:30-17.30 with an hour for lunch.
- Carry out preventative pest control visits to a wide spectrum of commercial clients
- Responding to reactive call outs to customers’ premises
- Completion of service reports for each visit
- Managing and planning your own diary so that visits are completed within agreed time scales – meeting service level agreements
The role includes a fully expensed company vehicle, PPE, equipment, company uniform & mobile phone. We also offer commission on sales generated from leads.
The ideal candidate should meet the following criteriaYou must hold BPCA accreditation to a minimum of level 2 and have a full UK driving licence.
- You will be an excellent communicator, skilled at working autonomously
- Experience in a wide range of premises would be beneficial
- Ability to demonstrate outstanding customer service skills
- A high degree of flexibility in working hours and types of jobs undertaken
- Willingness to participate in a 24/7 on call rota and to work overtime when and where required
- Have excellent attention to detail and technically competent
- Flexibility to meet the needs of the business is essential
