Cleaning Supervisor

Shift Pattern and Contract

5 days per week, 7.5‑hour shifts. Permanent contract.

Supervisor in our warehouse cleaning and waste team. Supervise/operate machinery, enforce hygiene and safety procedures, maintain equipment, assist with waste monitoring, report faults, liaise with Site Manager, and handle ad‑hoc duties.

• Carry out daily and weekly machinery checks and report faults to the Site Manager.
• Ensure Health & Safety procedures are followed and that equipment and materials are kept clean, safe and secured.
• Monitor waste production using weekly checklists and monitoring procedures.
• Respond to customer complaints and support Site Manager with shift operations.
• Participate in training sessions and remain aware of statutory fire and safety regulations.
• Perform ad‑hoc cleaning duties as required by business needs.

• Previous supervisory experience.
• Strong customer focus and service skills.
• Good organisational skills and ability to prioritise workload.
• Initiative, teamwork and an awareness of Health & Safety legislation.
• Communicative English; may be required to take an English assessment.
• Completion of Basic DBS Check and drug/alcohol screening.
