The Role

This is a great opportunity to join one of the UK's leading micromobility providers and play an integral part in our Operations team. We are building teams across the country, and while each location has its own local flavour,everyone works to the same standards, targets and expectations, all underpinned by an open and supportive culture.

Our technicians keep the fleet moving. We're looking for someone conscientious, flexible and hands-on, who takes pride in making a genuine difference to the business and the communities we serve.

Responsibilities
  • - Carrying out full product and asset rebuilds
  • - Supporting large-scale refurbishment of Beryl assets to enable business-wide growth
  • - Prioritising personal and workshop health and safety, flagging concerns locally and escalating to senior management where needed
  • - Working to Beryl standards at all times to ensure every vehicle built or repaired is safe for our customers
  • - Following guidance from senior mechanics on complex jobs to continually develop your skills
  • - Keeping accurate service and maintenance records for all vehicle builds and repairs via the Beryl app
  • - Supporting stock usage and stock consumption tracking as required
  • - Completing Beryl's mechanics training and any other internal qualifications required to maintain consistentstandards
  • - Identifying and reporting recurring vehicle issues to support continuous learning and improvement
  • - Staying up to date with changes to processes and parts used on vehicles
  • - Acting as a team player, supporting colleagues both locally and across the wider Beryl team
  • - Maintaining general housekeeping in the workshop and communal areas
  • - Carrying out ad hoc on-street repairs as required
  • - Supporting the on-street team as required
Skills and Qualifications
  • - A background in mechanical maintenance is beneficial but not essential
  • - A keen interest in electrical and/or mechanical repairs
  • - Willingness to work flexibly, including rotational hours
  • - Fluency with strong communication skills
