East Anglia Regional Lead – Strategic Growth & Market Presence

Future Gen Recruitment is representing a highly regarded planning consultancy seeking a Planning Director to lead and grow its East Anglia presence from Norwich.

This is a strategic leadership role with responsibility for business development, team growth, client relationships and the delivery ofmajor residential planning projects. The successful candidate will be a visible figurehead within the regional development market and will take ownership ofthe consultancy’s long-term growth strategy across Norfolk, Suffolk and Cambridgeshire.

The Role

As Planning Director, responsibilities will include:

• Setting and delivering the East Anglia growth strategy
• Winning major instructions and strengthening client relationships
• Leading major residential schemes, Local Plan promotions and appeals
• Managing senior stakeholders including land promoters, developers and investors
• Overseeing team performance, recruitment and long-term talent development
• Managing operational performance, project profitability and regional budgets
• Representing the business at industry events and within the property market
• Ensuring high-quality planning delivery and maintaining consultancy reputation

• Strong record of winning and delivering major planning instructions
• Proven leadership capability managing teams and senior stakeholders
• Strong commercial and financial understanding
