Electrical Contract Manager

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Contract Manager to lead and develop our electrical services function. Reporting to the Operations Director, you will play a critical role in driving operational performance, ensuring regulatory compliance, and delivering exceptional service across our electrical portfolio.

This is a leadership position where you will shape strategy, manage performance, and build a high-performing team to support our growth ambitions.

• Lead and manage the electrical operations team, ensuring strong performance, engagement, and development.
• Drive operational efficiency and profitability, delivering against budgets and business targets.
• Oversee full compliance with all relevant legislation, regulations, and certification standards.
• Manage P&L performance, including cost control, stock management, and resource planning.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with key clients, acting as a trusted advisor.
• Provide insightful performance reporting, including financial and operational metrics.
• Ensure excellent customer service across all electrical works, including EICR testing and remedial services.
• Champion health & safety, ensuring robust policies and safe systems of work are maintained.

You are a confident leader with strong technical expertise and a proven ability to deliver results in a fast-paced operational environment.

• Budget management, forecasting, and cost control
• Delivering complex operational projects on time and within budget
• Strong knowledge of building regulations and health & safety legislation
• In-depth knowledge of electrical regulations (BS 7671, Electricity at Work Regulations)
• Experience with compliance frameworks (e.g. NICEIC)

• NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Electrical Installation
• 17th & 18th Edition BS 7671
• Inspection & Testing (2391 or 2394/2395)
• ECS Health & Safety qualification
• Full UK driving licence

• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement
• Strong analytical and decision-making capability
• Project and resource management expertise
• Advanced troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities under pressure
