This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in shaping the experience of Allied Health Professionals (AHPs) across NSFT. As Project Manager, you will be fully embedded within the AHP leadership team, driving work that directly enhances the contribution AHPs make to delivering Safer, Kinder, Better care across all localities.
You will lead the planning and delivery of a diverse portfolio of high-profile, trust-wide initiatives, including major events such as an AHP conference, alongside workforce, efficiency, and service improvement projects.
Working within an inspiring, supportive, and values-driven team, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders across locality, corporate, and operational services, as well as with service users and carers, to ensure projects deliver meaningful and lasting impact.
Main duties of the jobThe Project Manager will apply project management tools and techniques to ensure successful delivery of critical project outcomes, monitor progress against agreed milestones, and manage resources efficiently to help the team impact on staff experience and service quality. The postholder will contribute to service improvement initiatives, support change management activities, and promote Trust values throughout all aspects of project delivery, maintaining high standards of professionalism and inclusivity.

Person Specification Qualifications- Educated to degree level or equivalent experience in managing projects or change programmes.
- Project management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 Foundation, APM PFQ) or demonstrable knowledge of project management tools and techniques.
- PRINCE2 Practitioner, Agile or equivalent advanced project management certification.
- Experience managing defined projects or supporting change initiatives within a team or department.
- Experience in applying project management tools and techniques to deliver project outcomes.
- NHS/public sector experience and knowledge.
- Experience of workforce development in an NHS setting
- Effective communication and influencing skills
- Effective problem-solving skills
- Ability to use information systems effectively and interpret data appropriately
- Strong planning and organisational skills for managing project tasks and timelines
- Ability to build positive working relationships across departments and with external partners
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, including report writing and presentation
- Ability to interpret and present data to support decision-making
- Ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
- Awareness of change management principles and how they apply to project delivery.
- Able to work at Trust sites and locations as required
