Directorate Operations Manager; DOM - Care Group D

We are seeking an experienced, dynamic, and highly motivated Directorate Operational Manager to join our team on a fixed-term basis. This is an exciting opportunity for an operational leader with a strong track record of delivering high-quality, patient-centred services within a complex healthcare environment. The successful candidate will work closely with clinical and corporate colleagues to provide effective operational leadership across the Directorate, ensuring performance, quality, workforce, and financial targets are achieved.

You will play a key role in service improvement, transformation initiatives, and supporting teams to deliver safe, efficient, and compassionate care.

6 Month Fixed Term/Secondment Opportunity, The Directorate Operations Manager (DOM) is responsible for the day-to-day operational leadership and performance management of designated clinical services within the Directorate. Working as part of the Service Triumvirate and alongside the Senior Operations Manager, the post holder will ensure the delivery of safe, effective, high-quality, and patient-centred services across all sites.

We are looking for an individual with excellent communication and leadership skills, the ability to manage competing priorities, and a collaborative approach to problem‑solving. Experience with in NHS operational management and a passion for continuous improvement are essential.
