The Role You will take the mechanical lead on projects from pre-construction through to completion and handover, working closely with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and internal teams to ensure successful project delivery. Key Responsibilities Lead the mechanical package from design coordination through to commissioning and handover Act as the primary client-facing lead for mechanical delivery Coordinate consultants, subcontractors, and site management teams Manage programme, quality, health & safety, and commercial performance Control variations, reporting, commissioning, and mechanical final accounts Support and mentor junior engineers, supervisors, and apprentices Assist with pre-construction activities and project planning where required Build and maintain strong client relationships across the region What We're Looking For Proven experience as a Mechanical Project Manager on large-scale building services projects Experience delivering projects within Data Centres, Life Sciences, Education, Healthcare, or similarly complex environments Strong leadership, communication, and client management skills Solid understanding of Design & Build procurement and commercial processes Proactive, organised, and delivery-focused approach Ability to work independently and contribute to the growth of a new regional division What's on Offer Competitive salary Company car or car allowance 6% pension contribution 26 days annual leave plus bank holidays Structured leadership and development programmes Long-term career progression within a stable and growing contractor Opportunity to play a key role in the growth of a new Norwich-based division Exposure to high-profile Data Centre, Life Sciences, and Education projects Supportive culture with strong staff retention and investment in employee development This role would suit a Mechanical Project Manager looking for long-term stability, technically challenging projects, and the opportunity to become a key part of a growing regional business with significant backing and future investment.
