We are seeking an experienced and proactive Site Manager to join a well‑established Further Education College based in Norwich. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in ensuring a safe, secure, and well‑maintained learning environment for students, staff, and visitors.

You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the colleges facilities, overseeing maintenance, health and safety compliance, and supporting operational efficiency across the site.

• Oversee the daily operation, maintenance, and security of the college premises
• Ensure full compliance with health & safety regulations and statutory requirements
• Manage planned preventative maintenance (PPM) schedules and coordinate repairs
• Supervise contractors and external service providers on site
• Lead and support site staff, including caretaking and facilities teams
• Conduct regular inspections to maintain high standards across buildings and grounds
• Manage budgets related to site operations and maintenance
• Support emergency procedures and act as a key contact for site‑related incidents

• Proven experience in a Site Manager / Facilities Manager / Estates role, ideally within education or a similar environment
• Strong working knowledge of health & safety legislation (IOSH/NEBOSH desirable)
• Excellent organisational and problem‑solving skills
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independentlyi>
• Confident in managing contractors and leading a team
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Relevant qualifications in facilities management, building services, or equivalent (desirable)
