As our Commissioning General Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in bringing our vision to life, shaping the culture, building and inspiring your team, welcoming our first residents, and establishing a home that delivers exceptional care from day one.
- Lead the successful commissioning, launch and performance of the home, delivering outstanding care and resident experiences.
- Recruit, develop and inspire a high-performing team, creating a positive and supportive culture.
- Build strong relationships with residents, families, healthcare professionals and local stakeholders to drive reputation and occupancy.
- Take ownership of financial, operational and regulatory performance, ensuring compliance and quality standards are met.
- Drive continuous improvement and best practice across all areas of the home.
- Work closely with Avery's support teams to establish the home as a leading care community.
- Lead the home beyond commissioning, ensuring continued growth, operational excellence and the delivery of exceptional resident experiences as the service matures. We're looking for an experienced care home leader who is excited by the opportunity to open and grow a new service. Have experience as a Registered Manager, General Manager or Home Manager within a care home setting. Have commissioning experience or a proven track record of significantly increasing occupancy and improving service performance.
Hold a Level 5 Leadership and Management qualification (or equivalent). Demonstrate strong leadership skills and the ability to develop high-performing teams. Possess commercial awareness with experience managing budgets and business performance. Have excellent communication and relationship-building skills. Be confident engaging with residents, families, colleagues and external partners. Be resilient, adaptable and able to thrive in a commissioning environment. Be committed to delivering outstanding resident experiences.
