Window Fabricator – Workshop, Norwich based

Hours:

39 hours per week, full‑time, temporary to permanent. 06:30 – 15:00 Monday‑Thursday & 06:30 – 13:30 Friday. Pay based on experience.

Technique Recruitment Solutions is a specialist Engineering & Manufacturing recruitment company. We are working with a client that provides specialist glazing solutions to the construction industry and are looking to recruit a Window Fabricator (Aluminium) to join their expanding team.

Our client specialises in the aluminium fabrication of doors, windows and curtain walling.

• Measuring, cutting, and assembling aluminium and UPVC profiles to specification.
• Using hand tools, power tools and machinery to fabricate high‑quality window and door units.
• Fitting hardware, gaskets, beads and seals to completed frames as required.
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and work orders.
• QC finished products to ensure company standards are met and adhered to.
• Assisting with loading, unloading and movement of materials as directed.
• Keeping the workstation clean, safe and organised throughout the working day.
• Following all health & safety procedures and reporting any issues promptly.
• Supporting general factory operations as required.

• Previous experience as a Window Fabricator is essential.
• Experience with metal/UPVC or aluminium fabrication preferred.
• Window, door and curtain wall fabrication experience in other materials is essential.
• CNC or similar machinery experience is advantageous.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Strong teamwork skills with the ability to work independently.
• Good timekeeping and reliability.
• Willingness to work overtime when required.
• Shows initiative and a strong work ethic.
