Production Planner - Cheshire - circa pa

Our client is looking for a conscientious and ambitious scheduler with experience in the printing industry. The role of scheduler is to ensure cost effective planning and deployment of resources to maximise service level performance.

• Effectively managing resources to maximise service levels
• Leading the scheduling activities to ensure the effective receipt, processing and dispatch of printing jobs
• Driving a culture of continuous improvement by identifying and implementing enhancements to current ways of working

• Solid scheduling experience and a proven track record in a fast paced, target driven environment
• Sound knowledge of print production processes
• Excellent communication skills and well-developed relationship management skills
• Impeccable time management skills with demonstrated ability to prioritise and delegate effectively, and to meet tight deadlines
• Residency in the UK required
• Experience in the print, packaging or paper sectors required
