UPVC Foiling Operator - Nights

About the role

We are currently recruiting a Foiling Operator to join our Manufacturing team. This role is responsible for the setup, operation, and day-to-day running of foiling machines, supporting the smooth flow of materials through the foiling area while maintaining high standards of quality, safety, and productivity.

This is a hands-on operational role with no people or budget management responsibilities, ideal for someone with manufacturing or production experience who enjoys working as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Key responsibilities

As a Foiling Operator, your duties will include but are not limited to:

• Setting up and operating foiling machines and associated ancillary equipment
• Producing foiled products in line with the production plan
• Recording machine outputs using SIC and OEE documentation and procedures
• Carrying out quality checks to ensure finished goods meet required standards and defects are minimised
• Accurately recording quality performance and checks
• Disposing of rejects in accordance with company procedures
• Supporting the movement of materials and finished goods to and from the foiling area
• Assisting with empty stillages, mounting stillages onto wheels, and material flow through the foiling machines
