UPVC Compounding Technician

We are currently looking for a uPVC Compo under to join our manufacturing team. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for preparing and mixing high-quality uPVC compounds in line with production schedules and specifications.

Working closely with the Technical and Production teams, you will play a key role in ensuring consistency, quality, and efficiency across the compounding process.

Key Responsibilities

• Accurately weigh and blend raw materials including PVC resin, stabilisers, fillers, and pigments in line with approved formulations
• Operate and monitor mixers, blenders, and extrusion equipment
• Carry out in-process quality checks (e.g. melt flow, colour, density) and make necessary adjustments
• Maintain accurate records of batch formulations, material usage, and outputs
• Support manufacturing teams by responding to operational queries
• Help standardise and document compounding processes
• Monitor stock levels of raw materials and report any shortages
• Ensure strict adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards
• Keep the work area clean, organised, and contamination-free

Shifts:

• Week 1 Days – Monday to Thursday - 07:00 to 19:00
• Week 2 Nights – Monday to Wednesday - 19:00 to 07:00 Thursday 19:00 to 23:00
