Location:

Clitheroe Payrate: £15.88ph and £17.25 after 12 weeks

Hours:

Rotating weekly shifts of 6am to 2pm and 1:45pm to 9:45pm

Job Summary We are seeking Production Operators to join a busy manufacturing environment within the CMF (Component Manufacturing Facility) and Valve Assembly departments. The successful candidates will be responsible for assembling, pressing, and washing components used in the manufacture of aerosol valves, cans, and related products, operating automated production equipment while maintaining high standards of safety, quality, and Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP).

Key Responsibilities Operate automated production and assembly equipment safely and efficiently. Assemble, press, and wash components in accordance with production requirements. Follow detailed written work instructions and standard operating procedures. Complete all production documentation accurately, legibly, and in real time in line with GMP requirements. Carry out routine safety checks and maintain excellent housekeeping standards within the work area. Continuously monitor machinery during production runs to ensure optimal performance and product quality.

Report any quality, safety, or operational issues immediately to the Production Leader or Group Leader. Participate in effective shift handovers, communicating machine status, ongoing work, and any relevant updates using established processes. Comply with all site policies, procedures, and safety regulations. Contribute positively to continuous improvement initiatives and support a collaborative team environment. Skills & Experience Ability to follow detailed instructions and procedures.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards. Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as part of a team. Commitment to health, safety, and GMP requirements. Reliable, punctual, and able to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. CMF Operator Previous manufacturing, machine operating, or press operating experience would be advantageous. Valve Assembly Operator
