Purpose of the role To play a key role within the manufacture of our sustainable fabrics. The role of a Multi-skilled Operative is crucial for ensuring that our fabric pieces are accurately and efficiently prepared for assembly, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to the overall beauty of our products.

The day to day To adhere to the Camira Code of Conduct and comply with all relevant quality, environmental, health & safety, data protection, and corporate legislative requirements Carry out creeling, knotting and yarn joining activities to maintain production flow. Operate textile manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently. Inspect yarns and fabrics, identifying and reporting any defects or quality concerns. Follow production instructions, specifications and safe systems of work (SSOW).

Complete production records, quality checks and associated documentation accurately. Assist with material handling, machine set-ups and product changeovers. Report equipment faults, process issues and non-conforming products to the Team Leader. Maintain high standards of housekeeping and carry out routine operator maintenance checks. Work collaboratively to achieve production, quality and safety targets. Support general operative duties across the department as required.
