Production & Assembly Operative Long Stratton, Norfolk £13.00 per hour | Monday to Friday | 08:00 – 16:30

Select Recruitment Specialists is recruiting on behalf of our client in Long Stratton for a Production & Assembly Operative to join a growing manufacturing team. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys practical, hands‑on work and wants to build a long‑term career within a modern production environment.

The Role

Working as part of a skilled production team, you'll be involved in preparing and assembling specialist interior components using a range of hand and power tools. You'll work from job specifications, accurately measure and cut materials, and help ensure every product is completed to a high standard before moving to the next stage of production.

What You'll Be Doing
  • Measuring, cutting and fitting materials to specification.
  • Using hand and power tools safely and effectively.
  • Reading job instructions and basic technical drawings.
  • Carrying out quality checks on completed work.
  • Recording production progress accurately.
  • Keeping your work area clean, organised and safe.
  • Working closely with colleagues to meet production deadlines.
What We're Looking For
  • Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly or production.
  • Confidence using hand‑held power tools.
  • Good attention to detail and a practical approach to work.
  • Ability to follow instructions and work from measurements.
  • A reliable, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
  • Good understanding of workplace health and safety.
What's on Offer
  • £13.00 per hour.
  • Monday to Friday working pattern – no weekend shifts.
  • 40 hours per week (08:00–16:30).
