Production Operative
Location: Norwich
Pay: £12.71 per hour
Hours: Monday - Friday, 7:00am - 3:30pm
Contract:Ongoing temporary work
Are you looking for a Monday-to-Friday role with no weekend work? Our client is a busy food manufacturing business in Norwich and is looking for reliable Production Operatives to join their chocolate production team.

As a Production Operative, you will play an important part in the production and packing of products. Your duties will include:
- Working on a production line, including standing at a conveyor belt for extended periods
- Placing chocolate blocks onto the production line ready for wrapping
- Wrapping chocolate products to company standards
- Packing wrapped chocolate products into boxes, typically weighing 300–400g
- Keeping your workstation clean, tidy and organised
- Following all food hygiene, health and safety procedures
- Reporting any production or quality issues to your supervisor
- Supporting with stock rotation and inventory checks when required
We're looking for candidates who are:
- Reliable and punctual
- Comfortable working on their feet for extended periods
- Able to work at a steady pace on a production line
- Comfortable handling food products
- Able to follow instructions and strict hygiene procedures
- A good team player with a positive attitude
- Previous food manufacturing or production experience is beneficial, but relevant transferable experience will also be considered
