Do you love seeing innovative products go from an idea on a drawing board to something being manufactured at scale?
Are you the kind of engineer who spots opportunities to make processes smarter, products better and production more efficient?
Would you enjoy having real ownership over how new products are introduced, manufactured and continuously improved?
If that sounds like you, this could be a brilliant next step.
We're working with our client, an ambitious, innovation-led technology business with exciting growth plans, to find a Production Engineer who enjoys solving technical challenges, improving manufacturing processes and bringing new products to life.
This isn't just about keeping production running. It's an opportunity to influence how products are designed for manufacture, shape production processes and work alongside talented engineers to turn innovative ideas into commercially successful products.
Why This Role is GreatIf you're someone who enjoys variety, technical problem-solving and making improvements that genuinely stick, there's plenty to get excited about.
- Bring new products to life: Take ownership of the transition from research and development into full-scale production, helping exciting new technologies become manufacturing-ready.
- Make manufacturing smarter: Find creative ways to improve production efficiency, enhance quality and reduce manufacturing costs without compromising performance.
- Get involved early: Influence New Product Introduction (NPI) projects from the development stages, ensuring products are designed with assembly, testing, servicing and scalability in mind.
- Shape the production environment: Collaborate with manufacturing partners to develop assembly processes, integrate systems and solve technical challenges.
- Become the go-to problem solver: Investigate production issues, understand root causes and develop practical engineering solutions that keep things moving.
- Turn data into improvements: Use production insights and performance trends to identify opportunities for continuous improvement.
- Make your expertise count: Develop engineering specifications, improve build documentation and help establish manufacturing best practices.
- Work with people who know their stuff: Collaborate with R&D, quality, product management and supply chain teams, gaining exposure to the entire product lifecycle.
You'll have the opportunity to take genuine ownership of your work, challenge existing approaches and see the tangible impact of your ideas.
