Fabricator, Manufacturing ​/ Production

Job Empire recruting on behalf ofa leading manufacturing company based in England, UK. We are currently seeking a skilled Fabricator to join our team on a full-time, permanent basis. As a Fabricator, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling metal structures and equipment, using a variety of tools and techniques. The ideal candidate will have experience in metal fabrication and be able to work independently and as part of a team.

• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications to determine project requirements
• Cut, shape, and bend metal pieces using tools such as saws, shears, and presses
• Weld and join metal pieces together using various welding techniques
• Operate and maintain various fabrication equipment, such as grinders, drills, and plasma cutters
• Measure and mark dimensions for metal pieces according to project specifications
• Inspect and troubleshoot finished products for quality and accuracy
• Follow all safety procedures and protocols to ensure a safe working environment
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects on time and within budget
• Maintain a clean and organized work area

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in metal fabrication
• Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong knowledge of welding techniques and equipment
• Ability to use a variety of hand and power tools
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work
• Good physical stamina and ability to lift heavy objects
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
