Anglia Press is looking for a creative and driven Marketing Executive to join our team on a part-time basis. You will take ownership of promoting our catalogue of published titles, growing our readership, and building the Anglia Press brand across digital and traditional channels. This is a varied role well suited to someone with a genuine love of books and literature, who understands how to connect stories with the right audiences.
You will work closely with our editorial and operations teams to plan and execute campaigns around new releases, seasonal promotions, and author events.
- Plan and deliver multi‑channel marketing campaigns for new and existing titles in our catalogue
- Manage and grow our presence across social media platforms (Instagram, X, Facebook, Linked In)
- Write compelling copy for newsletters, product pages, social posts, and press releases
- Coordinate with authors and external partners on promotional activities and events
- Monitor campaign performance using analytics tools and produce regular reports
- Maintain and grow our email subscriber list, managing campaigns via our email marketing platform
- Identify and pursue opportunities for press coverage, book reviews, and media features
- Support the development of our brand identity and ensure consistency across all materials
- 2–4 years of experience in a marketing role, ideally within publishing, media, or a related creative industry
- Strong copywriting skills with an eye for tone, detail, and audience
- Proven experience managing social media accounts for a brand or organisation
- Comfortable working with email marketing platforms (e.g. Mailchimp, Klaviyo, or similar)
- Familiarity with analytics tools such as Google Analytics or Meta Business Suite
- Highly organised, self‑motivated, and able to manage multiple projects simultaneously
- A genuine enthusiasm for books and literature
- Experience working within or alongside a publishing house
- Knowledge of SEO best practices and content marketing
- Familiarity with design tools such as Canva or Adobe Creative Suite
- An existing network within the UK literary or media landscape
- Flexible part‑time hours (approximately 20 hours per week)
- Hybrid working with the option to work remotely
- A collaborative and supportive team environment
- The opportunity to make a meaningful impact on a growing independent publisher
- Staff discount on all Anglia Press titles
