A community advisor facilitates and empowers carers and to achieve the greatest degree of choice, control, independence, and quality of life as possible to maintain their caring role.
Responsibilities- Provide support to unpaid adult carers within the community to continue their caring role
- Provide information, advice and guidance, wellbeing support, access to breaks and peer support opportunities, emergency planning and links into other preventative services
- Undertake support planning and reviews with carers
- Enable carers to increase their resilience, build on strengths and develop their personal networks in the community helping them sustain their caring role
The successful candidate will require a high level of IT skills.
