About the Role
We offer an exciting program of writing talks and workshops for our members. Our members look forward to interesting talks and workshops from the publishing and writing community each month, both in person and online, to develop their skills. With your help we can continue to grow.
What will you be doing?We are looking for an experienced project / events co‑ordinator to create an exciting program of talks and workshops for our members. Based in Norwich, you will work alongside the Online Program Co‑ordinator and committee, attend monthly meetings, join our events Whats App group, and participate in Zoom meetings.
Responsibilities- Create an engaging program of monthly talks and workshops for the writing group.
- Coordinate logistics and permissions for events, working through the committee structure.
- Attend twice‑monthly in‑person meetings in Norwich and all necessary virtual meetings.
- Manage communications via the events Whats App group and other channels.
- Experience working with committees and managing event logistics.
- Strong contacts or interest in the writing community.
- Excellent teamwork skills and a willingness to collaborate with the larger program team.
- For the in‑person co‑ordinator role, local residency in Norwich is required.
All volunteers are members of our group, with an annual fee. Volunteers from external sources receive complimentary membership for the first year.
