Our nurses offer specialist clinical interventions, including comprehensive health screens, alcohol assessments, vaccinations, ECGs, wound care and community alcohol detoxes, to service users across Norfolk. You'll work with highly skilled colleagues across the county to support and engage people in drug and alcohol treatment services. No two days will be the same, and we’re looking for nurses who have a range of skills and expertise, but who also believe in being open, compassionate and bold in everything they do.

HoursFull Time, 37.5 hours per week. For part‑time roles, the salary and payments will be pro rata based on contracted hours.

Your role includes- Undertaking physical and mental health assessments for people who access our services when appropriate.
- Appropriate sign posting/referral to primary care or appropriate secondary health care services for identified health issues.
- Providing education, health promotion and screening for blood borne viruses (BBV).
- Providing Hepatitis B vaccinations when indicated.
- Contributing to CGL’s Naloxone Strategy.
- Ensuring that procedures are regularly reviewed to promote best practice and evidence‑based practice in accordance with UK Guidelines on Clinical Management, NICE guidance, and CGL clinical protocols and procedures.
- Providing harm reduction advice to injecting service users, providing information and equipment and ensuring all equipment is disposed of safely.
- Recording and inputting client data and information.
- We hold regular national nurse and HCA forums, and you will have regular appraisals.
- We actively support our nurses with revalidation with protected continuing professional development time, which totals up to 6 days per year.
- We also have a wide range of educational opportunities including free access to the RCNi learning platform and we will reimburse your NMC fee.
