Head of Nursing

Surecall Medical Recruitment is partnering with a highly regarded private fertility clinic in the South West of England to appoint a Head of Nursing.

Nursing has a real voice at senior level, and this appointment offers a genuine opportunity to shape the service and make a lasting difference to patients and their families.

As Head of Nursing, you will lead the nursing team and take ownership of nursing standards across the clinic, working closely with the Medical Director and senior leadership team.

• Lead, manage and develop the nursing team across all areas of fertility care
• Maintain and improve nursing standards, clinical governance and HFEA compliance
• Shape and enhance the patient journey from initial consultation through treatment and aftercare
• Oversee training, competency frameworks and professional development
• Contribute to service development and the clinic’s continued growth
• Act as a senior clinical leader and role model across the clinic

• Current NMC registration
• Substantial experience in fertility or reproductive medicine nursing
• Proven leadership experience at Senior Nurse, Lead Nurse or Nurse Manager level
• Thorough knowledge of HFEA regulations and quality standards
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centred approach
• The ability to motivate teams and lead change
