The Role
As an External Quality Assurer (EQA) – Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, you will carry out and document quality assurance activities in line with regulatory and qualification requirements.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Planning, conducting, and monitoring face-to-face quality assurance activities
* Supporting centres with current industry and QA expertise
* Reviewing assessment and internal quality assurance practices
* Providing clear, constructive, and supportive feedback to assessors, learners, and delivery staff
* Maintaining effective working relationships with centres and internal teams
* Ensuring compliance within a regulated qualifications environment
This role covers centres across the East of England and North West regions.
Ideal Candidate
You will be a credible industry professional with strong technical and quality assurance experience.
You’ll need to demonstrate:
* Current, hands-on expertise in Refrigeration and Air Conditioning
* A recognised assessor qualification (D32/D33, A1/A2, or TAQA Level 3 CAVA)
* Achievement of, or working towards, TAQA EQA qualificationor equivalent (D35/V2)
* Experience working within a regulated environment
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Confidence providing professional, supportive feedback
* Ideally, residence within or close to the advertised regions
