We're supporting a leading manufacturing business in their search for a Senior Quality Engineer to join their Quality team in Diss. This is an excellent opportunity for a quality professional looking to play a key role in maintaining and improving quality systems within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. You'll be involved in everything from audits and quality improvement initiatives through to CAPA, supplier quality, validation activities, and continuous improvement projects.
Core Duties:
Supporting the maintenance and continuous improvement of the Quality Management System Conducting internal audits and supporting external audit activities
Leading customer complaint investigations and associated CAPA activities
Driving root cause investigations using recognised problem-solving methodologies
Managing calibration activities and quality documentation
Supporting supplier quality management, audits, and performance reviews
Assisting with process verification, validation, and risk management activities
Providing quality engineering support for manufacturing, continuous improvement, and new product introduction projects
Producing quality metrics, KPI reports, and trend analysis to support business decision-making
Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and R&D teams to drive quality improvements across the business
About You:
Experience with in a Quality Engineering, Quality Assurance, or Quality Systems role in a manufacturing environment
Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems and continuous improvement methodologies
Experience conducting audits and managing CAPA activities
Knowledge of root cause analysis and structured problem-solving techniques
Metrology knowledge and experience
Ability to interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and technical standards
Strong analytical, communication, and organisational skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Experience with supplier quality management, risk assessment, or validation activities would be advantageousA proactive approach with a passion for driving quality and operational excellence
