Role Overview

We are seeking a Sales Assistant to join our store team in our aquatics department at Highway Garden & Leisure in Norwich, Norfolk.

It is essential the candidate has a basic knowledge and experience of aquatics and fish keeping.

What You’ll Be Doing:

Providing exceptional service to every customer, ensuring a positive shopping experience
Replenishing stock and maintaining well-merchandised displays
Operating checkouts efficiently and accurately
Keeping the store clean, tidy, and welcoming
Supporting across departments as needed, with full training provided

What We’re Looking For:

A friendly, enthusiastic team player with a can‑do attitude
Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus
Strong organisational skills and the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines
Flexibility and willingness to support the store and your colleagues in meeting the business needs
Comfortable with physical tasks, including heavy lifting
