Overview
International BSC Reporting Manager – Chipping Sodbury. Reporting to Head of Accounting. The Heidelberg Materials (HM) International Business Service Centre (BSC) provides administrative, transactional and accounting services to in-scope HM companies. The Reporting team will actively drive the automation and development of all reporting across the BSC, making optimal use of available data and information systems and ensuring all developments meet customer and stakeholder needs.
Our Chipping Sodbury office is located near Yate, offering a rural setting with easy connectivity via the M4 and M5, and onsite facilities including free parking and an café on site.
- Subject Matter Expertise:
Demonstrate deep knowledge of reporting tools used by the BSC and a good understanding of end-to-end processes and accounting functions managed in the BSC. - Reporting services:
Prepare regular and ad hoc reporting to deliver information timely and accurately, meeting internal and group requirements. Manage interfaces and refreshes to keep data current. - Report development:
Support the Reporting Manager in implementing process improvements in reporting tools and processes to increase efficiency; work with Major Projects teams to ensure timely reporting for new and emerging business; collaborate with Transactions and Accounting teams to ensure data and reporting requirements are delivered from standardized, efficient reporting tools rather than manual downloads within individual teams. - Stakeholder management:
Engage with stakeholders to ensure reporting outputs keep pace with changing business needs and provide concise, accurate information.
Accounting background, or proven system/data analytics skillset in a finance environment.
