Retail Supervisor

Overview

We are seeking a Retail Supervisor for our shop in Sweet Briar Retail Park, Norwich. This is a permanent 39-hour full-time position, working a variety of shifts across 5 days from 7 each week.

Hours:

39 per week;
Pay: £13.61 per hour.

The hourly pay rate is £13.61 with a guaranteed minimum of 39 hours work per week. Overtime may be available. Benefits include:

• Be an important part of the management team and support the manager in leading the team to run an efficient shop and provide a great service to customers.
• Take full responsibility for running the shop in the manager’s absence, ensuring customers are looked after, deliveries are processed quickly, and shop routines are completed to maintain a safe, clean and tidy shop.
• Open and close the shop, handle cash, place orders and develop the team of retail assistants.
• Control operational costs including shrinkage, waste and payroll.

• Trustworthy and reliable as part of a small team
• Experience as a supervisor, team leader or manager in retail or similar industries is advantageous
• Ability to complete a Basic DBS check (England/Wales) or Disclosure Scotland check (Scotland) if hired

Please note that full-time positions require flexibility in availability throughout the week, including weekends.
