Sales Assistant​/Key Holder

Role Overview

Deichmann is looking for an enthusiastic and passionate Sales Assistant with Key Holder responsibilities to join our Norwich store.

This is a part‑time permanent position and you will be contracted to work 16 hours per week.

You will receive a competitive hourly rate of up to £13.11 per hour plus non‑contractual hourly sales commission.

• Open & close the store as and when required.
• Be responsible for a set of store keys.
• Approach customers, providing helpful and knowledgeable information on products.
• Serve customers at the till – processing sales transactions.
• Recommend and promote complimentary products with each sale.
• Collaborate with your team to achieve store sales targets and KPIs.
• Continuously replenish stock to ensure shelves are always full.
• Process stock deliveries in a timely manner.
• Ensure the shop floor is always kept clean & tidy to a high standard.
• Perform any additional ad‑hoc duties as and when required.

• Positive, can‑do attitude.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Willingness to approach and serve all customers.
• Drive to exceed monthly performance targets.
• Methodical approach to completing daily tasks – including stock SKU management.
• High levels of attention to detail.
• Ability to work both individually and as part of a diverse team.
• Commitment to work 16 hours per week and flexibility to work any day (Monday – Sunday).
