The RoleYou will be a Sales Development Representative (SDR) within the Demand Generation team – the engine room of the pipeline. Your job is to take engaged prospects from marketing campaigns and turn them into qualified sales opportunities. You will bridge marketing and sales, developing promising leads into sales-ready conversations to hand over.
This is a high-energy, metrics-driven role. You’ll work with enterprise employers (500+ employees) across target sectors, using a mix of email, Linked In, and phone outreach to build relationships, understand their needs, and book meaningful meetings. You’ll represent the company professionally on Teams, speak confidently to senior stakeholders, and engage consistently at every interaction.
The role sits at a critical point in the sales pipeline. You’ll be accountable for qualifying leads, moving them through stages, and contributing to the revenue your team generates. Your success translates to earnings – this role has real financial upside.
Key Responsibilities- Develop engaged marketing leads into qualified sales opportunities through personalised multi-channel outreach (email, Linked In, phone)
- Qualify prospects against the ICP (ideal customer profile) and determine fit before handing to Sector Directors
- Build and maintain relationships with multiple contacts within target organisations, engaging at different levels
- Develop compelling, personalised emails that engage and nurture prospects through the sales cycle
- Present confidently on Teams calls and demonstrate our product/solutions to senior stakeholders
- Manage long, complex sales cycles with persistence, strategy, and commercial focus
- Use Hub Spot and to track activity, manage pipeline, and maintain high data accuracy
- Work cross-functionally with Campaign Executives, Sector Directors, and broader teams
- Take a strategic view of each opportunity to maximise commercial potential
- Manage workload, priorities, and pipeline to hit OKRs and targets consistently
- Provide transparent feedback to the Demand Generation Lead on progress, risks, and required support
- Deliver proactive, excellent client service at every interaction
- Experience in B2B sales development – you know how to work a pipeline
- Proven track record of commercial success and hitting targets
- Commercially minded with KPI-driven experience and examples of raising the bar
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including presenting to C-suite and crafting compelling emails
- Strong listening skills and ability to understand client needs before pitching
- Excellent time management and organisational skills; self-motivated and accountable
- Computer literate with confidence using Office 365, CRM systems, and rapid tool learning
- Strong work ethic and willingness to go the extra mile
- Quick thinking, pragmatic, and adaptable
- Passion for the company’s mission and its sustainability impact
- Experience selling enterprise SaaS
- Understanding of or passion for behaviour change
- Full UK driving licence
