As a seed‑stage startup, we’re growing fast and need an ambitious, proactive, and entrepreneurial Sales Development Representative (SDR) to help us scale. What You’ll Be DoingAs our SDR, you’ll be responsible for driving the top of the sales funnel and fuelling our growth engine. You’ll work closely with the and marketing teams to identify, connect, and qualify prospects. You will also bring your own ideas, test strategies, and thrive in the fast‑paced environment of a seed‑stage startup.
Key Responsibilities Prospecting and Outreach- Identify and engage target accounts, focusing on HR buyer personas (e.g., HR Directors, Senior Benefits and Wellbeing roles).
- Conduct cold outreach via email, Linked In, and phone to generate new business opportunities.
- Leverage creative and personalised approaches to capture prospects’ attention.
- Qualify inbound and outbound leads to ensure a strong fit with Kare Hero’s service.
- Schedule discovery meetings and hand over qualified leads to Account Executives with detailed insights.
- Manage, update, and analyse CRM data in Hub Spot, ensuring accurate and consistent lead tracking.
- Build workflows, sequences, and reporting dashboards to improve efficiency and visibility into your pipeline.
- Continuously research the HR and benefits space to stay updated on trends, competitors, and opportunities.
- Build and refine ideal customer profiles (ICPs) and buyer personas for better targeting.
- Work with marketing to test messaging, refine campaigns, and maximise lead conversion.
- Share insights and feedback from prospects to improve product‑market fit and go‑to‑market strategies.
- Participate in weekly sales meetings and brainstorm sessions, bringing your own ideas to the table.
- Thrive in the dynamic, sometimes ambiguous environment of a seed‑stage startup.
- Adapt to rapid changes, experiment with new strategies, and learn from setbacks.
- Manage the pressures of a fast‑paced environment while maintaining a solutions‑driven mindset.
- Experience:
1–3 years in sales development or similar roles, ideally in a B2B SaaS company. - Proven Track Record:
Success in prospecting HR buyer personas (e.g., Benefits, HR, or People Teams). - CRM Expertise (Hub Spot preferred):
Familiarity with Hub Spot (or equivalent CRM), including managing sequences, workflows, and reporting. - Hunger and Initiative: A proactive, self‑motivated approach with a passion for finding new opportunities and solving problems.
