Marine Account Executive - Retail Insurance

This is a rare opportunity to join a highly reputable independent broker with a strong track record in the marine sector.

The successful candidate will have expertise in marine insurance, focusing on hull, cargo, trade, or P&I coverage.

As a Marine Account Executive, you will manage a portfolio of marine accounts, cultivate client relationships, and provide tailored insurance solutions.

The Role:
  • Retail-facing, non-Lloyd’s role handling and developing a UK and European marine client portfolio.
  • Managing existing marine accounts, including trade, yacht, cargo, and hull risks.
  • Developing new client relationships via referrals and networking.
  • Advising marinas, sailing clubs, boat builders, vessel sellers, and boatyards.
  • Attending client meetings across UK coastlines.
  • Providing technically sound, advice-led insurance solutions.
  • Building towards a future leadership role with succession planning.
  • Supported by digital marketing, strong insurer relationships, and autonomy in work approach.
