Sales Assistant

Fixed term contract expected to last until 06.03.2027 – 30 hours per week including weekend working.

Pay

• Age 21 and above: £12.71 per hour + personal sales commission.
• Age 20 and below: £10.85 per hour + personal sales commission.

Position – Sales Assistant (internally known as Service Specialist) at Topps Tiles.

Overview

• Help customers visualise projects and find the right tiles.
• Use a consultative approach to understand customer needs.
• Provide design ideas around colour, style, layout and design.
• Drive sales through expert product knowledge.
• Confidently close sales and maximise opportunities.

Qualifications

• No prior retail or tile experience required.
• Outgoing, friendly and energetic.
• Must be able to lift heavy boxes.
• Must be aged 18 or over.
