We're working with an established technology business looking to add a confident, commercially minded Telemarketer to its growing sales function. You'll play a key role in generating new business, developing customer relationships and turning conversations into sales across the pre‑owned consumer electronics market.
Role Overview :- Location: Norwich
- Package: Competitive salary
- Industry: Technology / Consumer Electronics
- Making outbound calls to new prospects, existing customers and dormant accounts to uncover sales opportunities.
- Building rapport quickly, understanding customer requirements and qualifying genuine buying opportunities.
- Introducing customers to available pre‑owned technology, including mobiles, tablets, laptops, consoles and wearables.
- Driving sales through an online dealer portal and helping customers identify suitable UK and US stock.
- Identifying new buyers and supporting them through onboarding, from initial contact through to their first orders.
- Managing follow‑ups consistently to keep opportunities moving and improve conversion.
- Keeping CRM records accurate and up to date, including call outcomes, customer notes and next actions.
- Working towards clear activity, conversion, sales and gross profit targets.
- Handling common objections confidently and using customer feedback to improve future conversations.
- Working closely with the wider sales team and following commercial and pricing guidance when progressing opportunities.
- Previous experience in telemarketing, telesales, sales support, customer service or another outbound calling role.
- Confident and comfortable making a high volume of calls and working towards measurable targets.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to build rapport, ask the right questions and handle objections.
- Organised approach to managing leads, follow‑ups and day‑to‑day sales activity.
- Good CRM discipline with strong attention to detail when maintaining customer and pipeline information.
- Commercially aware, resilient and motivated by converting conversations into results.
- Comfortable using Microsoft Office, Outlook and CRM or sales systems.
- An interest in consumer technology would be useful, but deep product knowledge isn't essential.
- Able to work independently, prioritise effectively and maintain momentum in a target‑driven environment.
- Join an established business operating in a fast‑moving technology market.
- Build hands‑on commercial experience across lead generation, customer engagement and sales conversion.
- Develop your knowledge of consumer electronics, international stock opportunities and B2B sales.
- Work in a role where your individual activity has a clear impact on revenue and commercial performance.
- Gain exposure to the full customer journey, from prospecting and onboarding through to repeat purchasing.
- Clear targets and measurable performance, giving you visibility over the impact you're making.
