HGV Technician  Norwich  Monday to Friday (Straight Days) – £45,000

Overview We are seeking an experienced HGV Technician to join our Norwich workshop on a straight days, Monday–Friday shift.

Key Responsibilities
Carry out routine servicing, maintenance, and repairs on HGVs to DVSA standards
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic faults
Complete inspections, safety checks, and preventative maintenance schedules
Perform brake overhauls, clutch work, suspension repairs, and engine diagnostics
Ensure all work is completed safely, accurately, and within allocated times
Maintain workshop standards, tools, and equipment
Accurately complete job cards, service sheets, and inspection reports
Work collaboratively with the workshop team and support colleagues when needed Requirements
NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent) in Heavy Vehicle Maintenance & Repair
Proven experience working on HGVs or commercial vehicles
Strong diagnostic and fault‑finding skills
Good understanding of DVSA compliance and inspection standards
Ability to work independently and manage workload effectively
Full UK driving licence (HGV licence desirable but not essential)
