Youth CounsellorContract: Permanent
Hours: 18.5 to 37 hours per week, please state the hours you would like to be considered for on your application form
Location: Norwich will be your main base of work. There will be a requirement for you to be able to travel to locations other than your main base on a regular basis, depending on service requirements.
Salary: Starting salary £29,670 per annum (pro rata) with incremental progression based on performance to £31,905 per annum (pro rata).
Visa: This role does not meet the requirements for skilled worker visa sponsorship under the UK immigration rules.

Responsibilities- Carry out 1:1 counselling sessions for young people 11-25 in Norfolk.
- Conduct assessments of young people’s mental health using appropriate tools.
- Refer or signpost young people to alternative support where necessary.
- At least a Counselling Diploma.
- Eligibility to join a professional counselling/psychotherapy body.
- Some experience of working with young people is essential.
- Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check required. gt;
