Tax Manager Job Description for QRGA, LLP

TITLE: Tax Manager

CLASSIFICATION: Part-Time or Full-Time

REPORTS TO: Partners

SALARY RANGE: $100,000 - $140,000 (commensurate with experience)

QRGA, LLP is a well-established CPA firm looking to expand our team of tax professionals. We are currently seeking an experienced tax professional with a minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting to join our team. Experience with a variety of entity tax returns, multi-state tax laws and issues; and business consulting is required.

• Strong technical knowledge in taxation
• Preparation/Review of tax returns with accuracy and technical compliance for entities and individuals
• Experience with estates, trusts and gift tax preferred but not required
• Conduct research for complex issues and consult directly with clients
• Ability to learn about QRGA’s clients in order to provide proactive tax advice
• Share knowledge through coaching and training of team members
• Thorough understanding of IRS Tax Code
• Serves as a business advisor to clients

• Ability to prioritize work and adhere to time budgets
• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks with minimal supervision
• Ability to work effectively with staff members and clients fully aligned with the firm’s values

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in public accounting
• Experience with Quick Books, Pro System FX Engagement, ACL and Lacerte Tax Software a plus
• Self-motivated and able to provide significant contributions to tax department
