Responsibilities:
- Responsible for creating, maintaining, and training plans for all Static Engineering processes in collaboration with the Engineering Services Manager, including SOPs, work instructions, departmental best practices, ISO, and compliance.
- Ensure compliance with all Static Engineering document (PLM) practices, understanding and communicating industry best practices for product structure, release, change, and change request processes. Work closely with NPD teams and the Engineering Services Manager to ensure accuracy and timeliness during documentation and product structure tasks.
- Develop and provide end-user training with the Engineering Services team.
- Set-Up:
Create new workflows and forms, set up new users, roles, permissions, and notifications. - Maintenance:
Define scope of backups, routine maintenance, updates, outage recovery, and upgrades. - User Support:
Troubleshoot user issues, define and deliver end-user training.
- Participate in design, testing, training, and rollout of new systems, working with project teams or individually.
- Strong time management, organizational skills, clear communication, teamwork, presentation skills, project planning, and problem-solving skills are required.
- Knowledge of engineering system administration, enterprise database administration, and document control best practices.
- Associate’s degree in a technical/scientific discipline or equivalent work experience.
- Normal office environment with limited lab exposure.
- Reports to Engineering Services Manager.
- Starting salary range of $81,600 to $122,400 per year, based on experience and qualifications.
