Required Skills & Experience
  • 5+ years of people management experience in manufacturing (medical device preferred).
  • BS in Engineering or BA in Business.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Knowledge of GMPs, ISO 13485, and Lean/Six Sigma principles.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and MRP systems.
Nice to Have Skills & Experience
  • Lean/Six Sigma certifications.
  • Experience with Minitab, Ignition (SCADA), and optical measuring equipment.
  • Advanced degree (MS Engineering or MBA).
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Oversee all 2nd and 3rd shift manufacturing operations across two buildings on the Norwood campus.
  • Manage daily production output, quality standards, and shop floor controls.
  • Assign tasks and lead shift changeover meetings for both buildings.
  • Collaborate with planning and engineering teams to ensure production schedules are met.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve process and equipment issues; act as technical lead when needed.
  • Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Develop and mentor production leads and team members; ensure cross-training and onboarding plans are executed.
  • Monitor departmental expenses and implement cost reduction strategies.
  • Maintain compliance with Quality and EHS requirements, policies, and procedures.
  • Report daily on schedule changes, equipment issues, and quality concerns to key stakeholders.
  • Foster a positive, collaborative, and professional work environment.
  • This role is onsite 5 day per week, Monday Friday. Training will start on first shift, then hours will move to 5:00pm-1:00am.
Compensation

$110,000 to $150,000 per year annual salary
