We are seeking a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist occupational therapists in providing rehabilitative services to patients with physical, emotional, or developmental impairments.

  • Work under the supervision of occupational therapists to implement treatment plans for patients
  • Help patients with exercises and activities that improve their ability to perform daily tasks
  • Monitor and record patient progress during therapy sessions
  • Collaborate with occupational therapists to modify treatment plans as needed
  • Educate patients and their families on techniques for continued improvement.
Qualifications Education and Licensure
  • Associate's degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
  • Current state licensure as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant
Experience & Requirements
  • Current and valid Driver's license
  • Current and valid Auto Insurance
  • Current and valid CPR certification
  • Experience in a healthcare setting preferred
  • Experience with EMR (electronic medical record) preferred

  • Observation/Assessment:
    Proficient in keenly observing patient conditions and adept at providing timely and accurate reports to relevant personnel
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills:
    Demonstrates excellent communication abilities with the care team and patients/caregivers, ensuring clear and concise information exchange.

    Possesses strong analytical and critical thinking skills to assess situations and make informed decisions.
  • Self-Motivated:
    Initiates tasks independently as a highly motivated self-starter, contributing proactively to the team's success.
  • Time Management:
    Displays effective time management skills, optimizing productivity and meeting deadlines efficiently.
