• Model and deliver a distinctive and delightful customer experience.
• Register sales on assigned cash register, providing courteous, fair, friendly, and efficient checkout service.
• Assist the pharmacist, under direct supervision, in the practice of pharmacy, including using pharmacy systems to obtain patient and drug information and process prescriptions.
• Engage customers and patients by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services, resolving issues and answering questions for a positive experience.
• Model and share customer service best practices with all team members.
• Provide customers with courteous, friendly, fast, and efficient service, including recommending items for sale and trade‑up options.
• Register purchases, collect cash, and process voids, returns, rain checks, refunds, and exchanges; assist customers in locating products.
• Maintain clean, well merchandised counters and shelves; perform inventory and record keeping as directed.
• Execute duties assigned by Pharmacy Manager, Staff Pharmacist, and Store Manager, including entry of patient and drug information, filling prescriptions, verifying medicine, checking for interactions, and supporting pharmacy workflow.
• Report prescription errors immediately and adhere to company policies and the Quality Improvement Program.
• Handle telephone calls that do not require pharmacist attention, including those to physicians.
• Process manual claims for third‑party prescription services and perform clerical duties as assigned.
• Assist pharmacy inventory management and maintain knowledge of asset protection techniques.
• Ensure compliance with state and local laws regarding regulated products.
• Construct and maintain displays, including promotional, seasonal, and sale merchandise.
• Assist with separation and placement of food items and perform stock rotation as specified.
• Operate store systems and equipment.
• Provide customer service in the photo area, including digital passport photo, poster print, and creative machine services.
• Assume web pick‑up responsibilities, monitoring orders and delivering them to customers.
• Assist with exterior and interior maintenance to ensure a clean, neat store condition.
• Comply with all company policies and maintain respectful relationships with coworkers.
• Complete special assignments and other tasks as assigned.

• Earn and maintain PTCB certification through the designated training program and/or state‑required certification/registration.
• Attend training and complete PPLs requested by Manager or assigned by corporate, while maintaining knowledge and skill in healthcare and pharmacy.

• Fluent in reading, writing, and speaking English (except in Puerto Rico).
• Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends.

• At least six months of experience in a retail environment.
• Prior work experience with Walgreens.
• Strong math skills for accurate prescription filling.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Knowledge of store inventory control.
• PTCB certification.
