Location: Bingham

The role of a Bookkeeper is to provide an excellent service for clients, creating and maintaining strong relationships. This role requires an individual with excellent attention to detail and a positive and professional approach. It would suit someone looking for part‑time hours, such as school hours.

Responsibilities
  • Daily “on‑site” bookkeeping at clients
  • Build strong lasting relationships with a large variety of clients
  • Implement Xero and ‘app‑stacks’ for client
  • Completion of accurate and timely management information
  • Assisting in the production of monthly accounts and reports
  • Reconciliation balance sheet and P&L accounts
  • Preparation and posting journals for payroll, prepayments, accruals, fixed assets etc
  • Bank reconciliations
  • Preparation of weekly and monthly supplier payments
  • Accounts payable with expenses and credit cards
  • Accounts receivable and credit control
  • Making our clients’ lives easier and helping their businesses thrive
Requirements
  • Fully qualified AAT or “Qualified by experience”
  • Full UK driving licence
  • Minimum 3 years experience in similar role
  • Love and knowledge of technology – Excel and accountancy apps
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Xero experience
  • A desire to learn and develop
