The role entails managing reception, welcoming approx. 120+ patients per day and ensuring that all relevant administrative tasks are completed to provide the expected high standard of care in hospital.
Responsibilities- Managing reception and welcoming approximately 120+ patients per day.
- Ensuring that all relevant administrative tasks are completed to provide the expected high standard of care in hospital.
- Acting as the focal point of contact for the department and serving as an information resource for staff and visitors.
- Receptionist skills, experience in the NHS, knowledge of the hospital and use of NUH computer systems such as MEDWAY PAS, NOTIS and UNITY would be a distinct advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a professional telephone manner and good customer care skills.
- Ability to prioritise and work well as a member of a team, use your own initiative, maintaining accuracy with both verbal and written communication.
- Computer literate, experienced in the use of electronic communications and confident during face to face interactions with patients and visitors.
- Knowledge of hospital systems i.e. Medway, PAS and DHR is desirable; training can be provided.

SalarySalary:
The quoted salary will be on a pro rata basis for part time workers.
