The Role

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to work in a varied role, alongside staff and students to improve the student experience and support education administration. You will work alongside our Faculty Education and Student Experience Senior Administrators, academic staff, and in liaison with Professional Service departments. Your duties will include general administrative support for programme processes, maintaining key information for students (e.g. Moodle sites and handbooks), and managing physical record retention and disposal.

You will also support local activities focused on engaging with our students, building community, and improving their experience, including assisting with the coordination and servicing of Staff Student Forums (student feedback groups), arranging student events such as welcome and induction, and drafting local student communications. You will assist with projects supporting the education and student experience elements of the Faculty’s Strategic Plan.

Our

Team

Our team is friendly, inclusive and welcoming. We welcome applications from everyone and value the varied perspectives and experiences that a diverse team can bring.

About You

You should hold at least five GCSEs including Maths and English, or equivalent, or have considerable work experience in a relevant role. You will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, IT skills, and the ability to work on your own initiative as well as part of a team. You will have experience of building strong working relationships with colleagues across an organisation and managing a high workload with competing demands.

What We Offer

  • A hybrid working arrangement combining home and office work each week
  • Generous holiday entitlement of 27 days plus standard bank holidays and five university closure days including the period between Christmas and New Year.
