As an Executive Operations Administrator, you’ll be providing professional, reliable and flexible administrative support at the heart of the University’s leadership function, working closely alongside a team of Executive Assistants who support our most senior executives, including the Vice-Chancellor and members of the University Executive Board. It's a high-profile environment where the bar is high, the pace is real and the work genuinely matters.
AboutThe Role
Day-to-day responsibilities include coordinating diaries, arranging meeting logistics, drafting correspondence on behalf of designated members of the University’s Senior Management Team, processing financial transactions using University systems, maintaining team records and filing, supporting governance processes, and providing front‑of‑house and reception cover when needed. You will be encouraged to contribute ideas and flag improvements as you settle in, and there is also opportunity to get involved in team projects and develop your skills.

You’ll be joining a dedicated group of Executive Assistants and administrators who support the University’s most senior leaders. The team is collaborative, supportive and values quality and professionalism.
About You- Considerable experience in an administrative or coordinator role, ideally in a busy professional office environment
- Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage a varied workload, prioritise effectively and meet competing deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
- Discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive or confidential information
- High level of computing skills, particularly Microsoft Office 365, with confidence to learn new systems and digital platforms
- A hybrid working arrangement with a blended approach of home and office each week
- Generous holiday entitlement of 27 days (or pro‑rata) plus standard bank holidays and five University closure days, including closures between Christmas and New Year
