Purchase Ledger Assistant – West Bridgford – £28,000 - £30,000 pro rata, depending on experience

We're currently recruiting for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join a well-established and growing business based in West Bridgford on a temp-perm basis.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start or develop a career in finance. Previous purchase ledger experience is essential, as full training will be provided. We're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong attention to detail and a willingness to learn.

• Processing supplier invoices accurately and efficiently
• Matching purchase invoices to purchase orders and delivery notes
• Resolving invoice discrepancies with suppliers and internal departments
• Maintaining accurate financial records and filing
• Responding to finance-related queries via phone and email
• Supporting the finance team with general administrative duties

• Purchase ledger experience is essential
• Must be available to start work immediately
• Experience using SAGE is desirable
• Strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
• Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (particularly Excel)
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• A proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
• The ability to work well both independently and as part of a team
