Student Enquiry Point Coordinator; FTE

This coordinator post sits within the Student Services team of the University of Cumbria's Professional Services department. It acts as the central expert for complex student enquiries and guides Campus Assistants alongside the Gateway Manager. At 0.6 FTE, the role also works across university services to improve the student experience and campus environment. Fit turns on experience of higher education student support and of supervising colleagues.

• Act as the central point of expertise for complex student enquiries
• Work with the Gateway Manager to support and guide Campus Assistants, contributing to team coordination and service quality
• Work across university services to deliver a seamless student experience
• Drive service improvements and contribute to a welcoming, well-managed campus environment

• Significant experience in student services, customer service or a related environment
• Understanding of student support processes and needs in higher education
• Experience of university operations and the student community
• Experience supporting or supervising colleagues and contributing to a high-performing team

• Handling complex or sensitive enquiries with professionalism and empathy
• Proactive, organised and committed to delivering excellent service
