Our client, a reputable commercial vehicle dealership in Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, is seeking a skilled Commercial Service Advisor to join their established team.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to a busy service department within a long-standing, family-owned business.

The ideal individual will have a strong background in motor trade customer service and administration, with a focus on commercial vehicle servicing.

Duties of a Commercial Service Advisor:

Prepare job cards and raise invoices in accordance with work completed and manufacturer guidelines, using Kerridge DMS and customer authorisation platforms
Answer customer phone calls and handle enquiries professionally
Assist customers at the Service Reception counter
Liaise with technicians and manage the workshop workload to meet customer expectations
Arrange service bookings and manage the diary efficiently
Coordinate with subcontractors to schedule work and follow up on progress
Keep customers informed on vehicle status, costs, and authorisations throughout the service process
Complete estimates accurately and efficiently
Ensure workshop loading is optimised by booking vehicles promptly and effectively

Requirements of a Commercial Service Advisor:

Proven experience within a motor trade Service Advisor role, ideally within a commercial vehicle environment
Excellent customer service and communication skills
Strong organisational and administrative capabilities
Ability to thrive in a busy, multitasking environment

Experience with Kerridge DMS advantageous
Professional attitude and team-oriented mindset
